Senior Leaders

Servant Leadership

The Senior Leader Body embodies the principles of servant leadership in the school. This is a body of Grade 12 learners who underwent a rigorous nomination and selection process at the end of their Grade 11 year. The Senior Leaders play a pivotal role in embodying the values of the school; they serve as ambassadors, demonstrating what it means to be a Greensider both within the school, and in their interactions with the broader community.

Becoming Greensiders

One of the crucial roles of the Senior Leader Body is to facilitate the transition of our new learners from Grade 7 to Grade 8. Every year, the Senior Leaders spend a whole week with our new Grade 8s, turning them into Greensiders and bringing them into our family. They remain their mentors for the rest of the year and encourage the embodiment of the values by which every Greensider lives.

Service to Others

As custodians of the values of the school, the Senior Leaders are present at almost every school function. They give countless hours of service to the school and staff to ensure that every Greenside venture is a success. In their final year of school, these committed and dedicated Grade 12 learners truly demonstrate that, “The end of all knowledge should be service to others.” – Cesar Chavez
